Terrible legibilty on books, magazines and graphics are awful I had a Fire HDX 7 (and others) and loved it. I lost it on an airplane and figured that I will just get the latest 7 inch fire and it should be better than my 3 year old one. WRONG! I hate it. Books are almost illegible compared to my 3 year old fire. The pixelation is terrible. The construction quality is terrible too. The old 7 felt very solid (and was). This feels like a toy. SD CARD ineffective and causes glitches on fire 7 Bought this 8 GB version on prime Day due to low cost and supposed ability to add a 32 GB SD memory card. it turns out that if you try to add apps to memory card, that part of the app still goes into the limited internal memory . For me it did not really increase the total available internal memory due to very little being placed on the memory card . Don’t. Five months after the first tablet got so hot that it stopped charging completely, we’re opening a brand new one that will not stop updating (it’s been three hours). It’s stuck on a loop.
